Russian tax service may exclude some states from offshore blacklist
MOSCOW, Jul 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Tax Service has suggested changing the list of states and territories that do not cooperate with the service in exchange of taxation information, or a so-called blacklist of offshore zones, as seen by PRIME in the draft ruling published at the government’s Web site for disclosure of legal data on Friday.
The service plans to exclude three countries – Georgia, Mauritius, and Estonia – and three territories – Aruba, Bermuda, and the Cayman Islands – from the list, but it also included South Korea on the list. The ruling is to come in force from October 1.
